What Wispr Flow does well

Wispr Flow is the most recognized name in AI dictation right now, and for good reason. It supports Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android with full sync across devices, has real brand credibility (its own marketing cites usage at Amazon, Notion, and Vercel), and offers an Enterprise tier with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA-ready compliance. If you need dictation that follows you across every device you own, or your company needs compliance certifications, Wispr Flow covers that today. Ekkooo doesn't, at least not yet.

Wispr Flow is cloud-based: your audio is sent to a server, processed there, and the cleaned-up text comes back. Ekkooo processes everything on the Mac itself, using a local Whisper model and an optional local LLM for cleanup. Nothing gets sent anywhere.
